Phil
Phil is spot on. This is prime 1972 material, even though you can't hear Billy his work all by himself is fantastic. Great show. As always I wish I was there.

holy PHIL!
wow, Phil is so loud and clear in this mix. If your speakers can handle really loud and low bass, you will get a very clear picture of how freakin amazing Phil was at the time. Personally, I love this mix. I have the bass on neutral, and the treble a couple notches up.
Near the end of the other one, Phil just starts slaughtering the sound, he might have destroyed an amp. It sounds so darn in your face.
Listen to this if you haven't. Don't worry about the mix, just enjoy the rib-cage rattling BASS!

mix issues
previous reviews on other sources---& CM's own notes---the mix on this has issues, to say the least. Phil is WAY up in the mix on this---alomst to it's detriment. Keith & Billy are WAY DOWN in the mix. Other than that, the performance is as outstanding as Fall '72 could be. TOO has that wonderful jamming that was done on this tune from late July, clear through to the end of the year.
